Welcome to Bozen/Bolzano !

On 31st December 2012, the 38th edition of the BOclassic New Year's Eve Run will be held in Bozen/Bolzano, South Tyrol, Italy. This international road race has established itself through the years as one of the top sporting event in its field.

<strong>World and Olympic champions</strong> as well as world record holders will entertain thousands of spectators packed along the streets of the historical centre of Bozen/Bolzano through a <strong>1,250 metres</strong> long route. After running 4 rounds (5 km for the womens race) and 8 rounds (10 km for the mens race) the athletes are welcomed by a crowd of <strong>10,000 supporters</strong> on <strong>Walther Square</strong>, the largest open-air living room of <strong>South Tyrol</strong>. Great excitement is guaranteed!<br /><br />The two elite races are preceded by the Raiffeisen Youth Cup and the Ladurner Amateur Run, a very popular race for runners from all over Europe. <br />The two elite races are broadcasted live by the Italian <strong>television RAI</strong>. The TV coverage can already count on several millions of spectators worldwide.<br />We give a very warm welcome to all <strong>athletes</strong>, <strong>media representatives</strong>, <b>sponsors</b>, <strong>spectators</strong> <strong>and staff.</strong><br /><br />The organisation team of the <strong>Läufer Club Bozen</strong> has again dedicated itself to the full success of this new <strong>2012 edition</strong> of the BOclassic sporting event and wishes to make it unforgettable.
